- Purpose: Help advocate for and educate families on how to better understand how the participants can best achieve their individuals’ goals within the NDIS. The social worker will engage with the family to explore personal goals and concerns, to best advocate for additional supports, engagement with services and how to request additional support letters and plan reviews
- Session Structure:
- Face-to-Face/Virtual Session: 1 hour (existing), 1.5 hour (new participants)
- Follow-Up Resources: 30 minutes (includes written resources on NDIS management and advocacy strategies)
- Total Estimated Hours: starting from 1.5-2 hours* open to review based on participants needs
- Deliverables: Comprehensive guide on NDIS management, family advocacy tips, and recommended support services.
